Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic asked the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) President Odile Renaud-Basso for further support of the country’s infrastructure, particularly regarding a motorway connecting southern city of Nis to Kosovo’s capital Pristina.
Renaud-Basso said the Bank was ready to help in the development of the railway and Belgrade Port infrastructure.
The EBRD has already allocated 85 million Euro in support of Nis-Pristina motorway, Vucic’s office said in a statement.
During the video link talks, Vucic informed Renaud-Basso that Serbia adopted “a well-thought package of measures to help the economy and population in response to the coronavirus pandemic worth six billion Euro, or 12.7 percent of the GDP.
The two also discussed the support of small and middle-sized companies with additional finances and advisory aid.
