Belgrade mayor says no traditional outdoor new year gatherings

He appealed to the city population to stay safe for the rest of the holidays. “No relaxation, this is an important period. Holidays are periods when we like to be with friends but we have to hang on for a few more months considering that we have excellent medical news and we see that the whole world is being vaccinated,” the mayor told the pro-government TV Prva.

He said that as a doctor he has a dose of fear and concern when measures are eased.
