Montenegro Airlines suspends all air traffic

Due to the new circumstances and the decision of the Government of Montenegro not to support the existence of this air carrier in the future, they estimated that the level of risk is so high that Montenegro Airlines cannot accept it, Vijesti reported.

“The safety of passengers, crew and aircraft was the company's priority, since its inception,” the company statement said.

Air Serbia announced that having in mind the new circumstances and the suspension of Montenegro Airlines traffic, it will continue to provide a strong air link between the cities in the region, Europe and the Mediterranean, as well as North America, through its homeport in Belgrade.

The Serbian air carrier will carefully monitor the situation and adjust its flights and capacities accordingly, Air Serbia said.
