Academic Crisis Center established to support protest detainees

“We are witnessing increasingly frequent arrests and pressure on students, professors and other members of the academic community across Serbia,” the University in Rebellion said in an Instagram post.

They said the Academic Crisis Center will publish daily updates with available information about the number of arrested students, their locations, current status and legal aid provided to them.

They called on the police director to contact the Academic Crisis Center to establish communication aimed at informing the public about the status of those detained and how authorities are handling the cases.
