
Belgrade daily Danas said on Friday that air pollution levels were high in most of Serbia.

It said that high levels of air pollution were registered in at least 12 places by the Environomental Protection Agency which has been using the European index to assess air quality which is stricter than the methodology it used earlier.
Air quality in Negotin, Sopot, Mladenovac, Zemun, Cacak, Leskovac, Uzice, Lazarevac, Zajecar, Valjevo and Sabac was in the extremely polluted category, Danas said.
Air quality was categorized as good only in Bor and acceptable on Mt Kopaonik and Kamenicki Vis heights.
The air was polluted across Belgrade according to the Beoeko portal.
