Air Serbia resumed flights to Italy on Friday with a flight to Rome at 7:10 am, the national air carrier said, adding that it will fly between Belgrade and Rome on Mondays and Fridays.

Air Serbia said that it would resume twice weekly flights to Milano on May 28 and will introduce a third flight to both those destinations in Italy on June 13.

The press release quoted Air Serbia General Manager Commercial and Strategy Jiri Marek as expressing satisfaction with the resumption of flights to Italy which, he said, is an important market for the company.

Air Serbia stopped flying to Italy in March 2020 because of the coronavirus pandemic. The flights resumed in July but were discontinued just two weeks later.
