The Serbian national airline Air Serbia said it will resume flights between Belgrade and Cairo starting May 15, 2023. The service will run three times per week, each Monday, Wednesday and Friday departing Belgrade, and each Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday leaving the Egyptian capital.

Flights will be operated by Airbus A319 aircraft, while the tickets are already available for purchase.

“Egypt’s culture and history attract the attention of tourists from across the globe, while the specific climate makes the land of the Pharaohs attractive throughout the year. By listening to the needs of passengers in Serbia, as well as the broader Balkan region, we have decided to introduce scheduled nonstop flights between Belgrade and Cairo. Our company has been operating services to the capital of Egypt since the summer of 2019, and we are glad that we now have the opportunity to reconnect the two friendly countries,” said Air Serbia’s General Manager for Commercial and Strategy Bosko Rupic.
