Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said he couldn't be prouder of Albania's contribution to the difficult process of normalizing relations between Kosovo and Serbia, reported Fonet.

He said he would soon be going to Pristina to support Kosovo in implementing the basic agreement with Serbia.

Following media reports that Kosovo and Serbia accepted his draft statute for the Community of Serb Municipalities, Rama said in an X post that the draft accepted is a European Union proposal.

“Couldn't be prouder of Albania's firm and concrete contribution to the ongoing difficult process of normalizing relations between Kosovo and Serbia. However, the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities draft statute accepted by Kosovo and Serbia as a suitable working document is an EU draft,” Rama explained.
