Alek Kavcic detained when entering Serbia

After landing, Kavcic was detained at passport control, without being informed of the reasons, N1 was told.

He is waiting to be interviewed by police officers.

Kavcic has been actively helping Serbian educators in recent months, raising funds for supplementing their reduced or withheld salaries due to work stoppages. About 80 million dinars (1 euro – 117 dinars) has been raised for teachers.

“Every time I show up at a border crossing, there’s someone to stops me. Why? They don’t know - the system is to blame, the computer is to blame… Of course,” he said.
