In the company of European Union (EU) member countries’ ambassadors, head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Emanuele Giaufret and Serbian European Integration Minister Tanja Miscevic toured three projects in the area of Fruska Gora funded by the EU with over two million euros.
A press release issued by the EU Info Center said that they visited two cross-border cooperation projects in the field of tourism – between Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and between Serbia and Croatia, as well as the Kovacevic winery.
Giofre said that the three projects, worth over two million euros, show the EU’s strong support for Serbia, but also direct benefits for its citizens, especially at the local level.
Over the years, the EU has helped many people turn their dreams into reality by supporting their entrepreneurial ideas, but also by investing in the protection and promotion of Serbia’s rich cultural heritage and tourism potential, encouraging further economic growth and development, said Giaufret.
