Americans have been advised by the State Department not to travel to Serbia because of COVID-19.
It said that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a level 4 travel advisory advised against travel to Serbia because of “a very high level of COVID-19 in the country”. “Your risk of contracting COVID-19 and developing severe symptoms may be lower if you are fully vaccinated with an FDA authorized vaccine,” it added. The FDA has authorized the Comirnaty and Pfizer-Biontech, Moderna and Jannsen coronavirus vaccines.
The level 4 travel advisory also warned Americans to exercise caution in Serbia due to crime.
