After the now outgoing vice-president of the Serb List, Milan Radoicic, took the blame for the armed conflict in Banjska, attorney Ivan Ninic told Nova.rs that Serbia, if it consistently respects the Constitution, should immediately arrest him.
Ninic also said that what comes next is the most difficult period in recent history of Serbia, adding that there are two directions in which the case of Radoicic could move.
“If the state of Serbia would consistently apply the Constitution and the law, after the (press) conference of Milan Radoicic's lawyer, Serbia should arrest him, and the Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime should order his detention. They should take a statement from him, then identify all the members of his group and order everyone to be detained so that the investigation can be conducted smoothly,” Ninic told Nova.rs.
He added that some people lost their lives in a part of the territory that Serbia considers its own according to the Constitution.
“Then all the participants in those armed conflicts should be brought to justice and pre-trial proceedings should be conducted to determine who is responsible for the human victims,” Ninic stressed.
