Austrian MEP warns of pressure on Serbian media

“Igor Bozic and other Serbian journalists are reporting that pressure from the Vucic regime on the media is getting even more brutal,” the NEOS MEP wrote in an X post.

“Vucic must know that Europe is watching carefully. Rule of Law and free media are a precondition for further talks with the Serbian government,” he added.

Independent media in Serbia have been under increasing pressure since the anti-corruption and anti-government protests started late last year.
