Average salaries rise, statistics office says

It said that average gross salaries in the January-August 2024 period increased 14.7 percent nominally and 9.3 percent in real terms compared to the same period a year earlier.

According to the RZS, average net salaries increased by 14.6 percent nominally and 9.2 percent in real terms.

The average gross salary in August 2024 stood at 133,591 Dinars (1 Euro – 117 Dinars) while the average net salary stood at 96,649 Dinars. The average gross salary in August was 12.3 percent higher nominally and 7.7 percent in real terms compared to August 2023 while the average net salary increased by 12.2 percent nominally and 7.6 percent in real terms.
