Average salary higher by just 0.1 percent in Serbia

The Serbian Republic Statistics Office (RZS) said on Thursday that the average salary in the first half of the year was 15.4 percent higher nominally but just 0.1 percent in real terms.

It said that the average salary stood at 84,204 Dinars (1 Euro – 117 Dinars) in the first half of the year.
The RZS said that the highest salaries were in the computer programming industry and consulting (257,994) followed by air traffic (190,144), research and development (177,543) oil and gas industry (152,704), management (150,101), tobacco industry (146,373) and financial services (144,092).
The average salary for all other industries was between 46,722 Dinars and 137,195 Dinars.
The highest average salary was in the Belgrade area (106,746) and the lowest in the Sumadija and Western Serbia areas (70,165).
