The Belgrade City Election Commission (GIK) said on Friday that there are 1,613,369 voters in the Serbian capital.
Under Serbian law, voters can only cast ballots in their registered place of residence. There have been a number of reports of people allegedly being registered falsely as living in Belgrade allowing them to vote.
A GIK press release said that the commission determined the total number of voters in Belgrade for the City Assembly elections on Sunday, December 17.
