Over 500 teachers from Belgrade’s grammar schools voiced their full support for their former students who are currently participating in university protests and blockades, said the Forum of Belgrade Grammar Schools, an organization representing these teachers.
The Forum expressed deep gratitude to these young people, praising them for their daily reminder of the importance of building a society based on responsibility and solidarity.
Through their activism, these students are demonstrating that education and youth investment are the only truly risk-free investments, the Forum said in their press release.
They also called on other education workers’ unions to support the students’ demands.
