This year’s Belgrade International Tourism Fair will feature more than 40 local and foreign travel agencies, organizers said on Wednesday.

Belgrade Fair is also hosting catering equipment and international wine fairs.

Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Minister Tatjana Matic told the fair opening that Serbia recorded higher tourism industry revenues in 2021 compared to 2019 which she said was a record year. She said the industry would face consequences from the pandemic and war in Ukraine but would survive because it is adaptable. She said the upward trend would continue this year.

The fair will include travel agencies from the Balkans, north Africa and eastern Europe and Asia.
