We Muslims will always be part of our Serbia and we will strive to bring this country closer to and to unite it with everyone, especially with brotherly Muslim countries, said Belgrade Mufti Mustafa Jusufspahic in his Ramadan message.
May this Eid al-Fitr bring us peace, spiritual well-being, friendship and respect, because these are the greatest values we can have in this earthly life, said the Mufti.
“We ask Almighty Allah that this Eid be an opportunity for us to cherish human and God's values and to spend the days of Ramadan Eid al-Fitr in joy, in the spirit of tradition and love,” said Jusufspahic, adding that Eid happiness is incomplete if alms are not given to those who need it and if happiness isn’t shared with non-Muslim neighbors.
The Mufti invited all believers to the Eid al-Fitr prayer that will be held at 7 pm Friday, April 21, at the Bajrakli Mosque in Belgrade.
