According to the Direktno portal, the coloring book features a drawing of the Belgrade Waterfront buildings in central Belgrade which have been a point of contention between the authorities and opposition since the project was launched. It also features a drawing of the huge monument to Serbian medieval ruler Stefan Nemanja which stands in front of Belgrade’s old railway building. The railway station was moved with plans to turn the building into a museum allegedly because it is close to the Belgrade Waterfront buildings.

One of the drawings to be colored shows a boy and a girl with a scooter and skateboard and the Belgrade Waterfront in the background with a caption reading: Modern Belgrade, a True European Metropolis. A second drawing is of children at the Stefan Nemanja monument.

The coloring book was published jointly by the state-owned Official Gazette and the Public Policy Institute which is headed by Vladimir Beba Popovic, a political marketing expert who was a close associate of the late Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic and is alleged to be closely associated with President Aleksandar Vucic’s authorities.
