The international film festival FEST will be postponed to September, the festival committee announced.

Taking into account the realities and the festival’s best interests, the FEST committee decided to move the dates of this year’s FEST to September, reported Nova.rs.

At its meeting on Friday, the committee decided that the 53rd FEST will take place from September 12 to 23, “in order to preserve the founding mission and values of the festival.”

“This decision was made to protect the integrity of the most significant film event in Serbia and ensure successful development of FEST in the future,” said the committee.

The new date for the 53rd FEST is yet to be approved by the Belgrade City Assembly.
