A Twitter post said that President Aleksandar Vucic should also be asked about Belgrade’s failure to impose sanctions on Russia over its invasion of Ukraine.
“As the autocrats descend on Davos World Economic Forum 23 attendees should ask Vucic how his failure to sanction Russia and protect free media strengthens European security,” the Twitter post said.

A video embedded in the tweet said that “with tensions rising in Kosovo and Serbia, the attendance of Vucic is significant”. “Serbian media under de facto state control pumped out disinformation to build support in Serbia for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Disinformation attacks traced to Russia are flaming tensions between ethnic groups in Kosovo. Vucic has been invited to talk at a Davos event on how to strengthen the European security landscape,” it added.
