Big step for IT: Luxoft opens offices in Belgrade

World IT leader Luxoft, a part of the DXC Technology IT giant, has opened offices in Belgrade and continues to expand its team and operations in Serbia. The opening of the Belgrade office was attended by Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and by the Luxoft global management team.

Belgrade’s reputation of an increasingly important IT industry center has been additionally strengthened by the opening of the offices of the Luxoft company in which Serbian IT experts will work on the most important projects for the biggest international brands in the fields of the auto industry, the banking sector, logistic, telecommunications…

Luxoft Serbia officially began operating in March, as one of this company’s strategic European locations. It currently has 1000 employees, but its plan it to double the number of employees in the course of next year. Luxoft delivers state-of-the-art software solutions to over 425 clients globally, including 74 companies on the Fortune 500 list.

Its modernly equipped offices are located in a new Airport City building and can accommodate 500 employees.

Prime Minister Brnabic said that the arrival of company Luxoft brings additional knowledge to Serbia: “We have brought to Serbia additional talent, additional knowledge, people who can help our economy grow and get stronger. The IT sector is the fastest developing sector of our economy that will help us have over 2.6 billion Euro in exports this year.”

With more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry, Luxoft is continuously expanding its global operations, and today operates in 27 countries, including North and South America and the EMEA and APAC regions.
