While students have consistently called for a peaceful protest, Serbian government officials have predicted potential unrest.

In front of the Serbian Presidency building, a camp has been set up by students demanding an end to university blockades, stating that they want to continue their studies. However, non-students have also joined the camp, some allegedly paid to be there. According to an investigation by N1, a reporter posing as an interested participant was informed by an organizer that individuals were receiving approximately €70 per day to remain in the camp.

Among those in the camp are former members of the disbanded "Red Berets" unit, which was previously accused of war crimes, as well as individuals with criminal backgrounds. Police cordons now surround the area, raising public concerns about possible provocations or clashes between camp occupants and demonstrators.

There were discussions about relocating the student gathering to another location, but the decision was made to keep it in front of the National Assembly.

In response, biker groups who have been supporting the students for months announced they will use their motorcycles to form a protective barrier around Parliament to prevent any attacks on students and demonstrators.

Additionally, a police veterans' association has declared its support for the students, stating they will also be present to protect them.

A large number of citizens, including families, have gathered in front of the National Assembly.
