BIRN says Serbia exported more arms to Israel

BIRN quoted Customs Authority data collected by the Checkpoint.rs portal which showed that Serbia exported 14 million Euro worth of weapons to Israel “despite appeals in February from UN experts to stop arms exports to Israel because of crimes committed in Gaza”.

BIRN said that this was the third shipment of arms from Serbia to Israel since the Hamas attacks and hostage-taking in October 2023.

BIRN did not specify the type of weapons or which defense industry plant produced them.
