Blacklisted Serbian arms dealer exporting to US

According to documents that NIN claims to have had access to, companies linked to Slobodan Tesic exported ammunition and rockets to the US. The weekly said that the Valir company exported three shipments of small caliber ammunition while Zenitprom exported a shipment of rockets.

Tesic was blacklisted by the US, United Kingdom and Switzerland for violating the arms embargo on Liberia, bribery and corruption in his arms deals. He was initially designated in 2017 with stiffer sanctions imposed in 2019 on himself and his associates. The US authorities seized more than 33 million Dollars from three of his companies.
