Bomb threats force evacuation of state TV buildings


Bomb threats were sent to the Serbian state TV (RTS) again on Friday just two days after similar threats led to the evacuation of the station’s headquarters in central Belgrade.

The RTS was told that explosive devices were placed in its studios in the Kosutnjak neighborhood, the police said adding that similar threats were made to the state Radio TV Vojvodina (RTV) in the northern city of Novi Sad. Both RTV buildings were evacuated while bomb squads searched for explosive devices.

Both the RTS and RTV received bomb threats on Tuesday, November 21, forcing the evacuation of their main buildings.
