Bosnia registers 420 new coronavirus infections

The surge in new coronavirus infections in Bosnia is continuing, as another 420 people tested positive for the virus throughout the past 24 hours, healthcare authorities reported on Wednesday.

In Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, 318 of the 2,170 samples tested were positive for the virus and no COVID-19 fatalities were reported.

In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 399 people were tested and 83 infections were confirmed, while two COVID-19 patients passed away.

Bosnia’s Brcko District registered 19 new coronavirus infections since Tuesday.
