Brnabic attacks opposition, defends SNS loyalists

In an interview with the pro-regime Pink TV, Brnabic noted that President Aleksandar Vucic had made similar statements about the loyalists. She then referenced headlines in the daily Danas, sarcastically suggesting that loyalists should perhaps be arrested and expelled from the country.

Criticizing the opposition, Brnabic said they openly admit to wanting to seize power through street protests and then abolish democracy, and emphasized that “loyalists in our party are truly growing stronger.”

“These are people who are fed up with listening to the biggest criminals talk about honesty, the biggest liars about truth, the biggest cowards about courage. People have had enough, they can’t stand it anymore,” said Brnabic. She directed particular criticism at Dragan Djilas, the leader of the opposition Party of Freedom and Justice (SSP).
