Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic visited the town of Kosjeric ahead of local elections scheduled for June 8, where she was booed by local residents.
Blowing whistles, the locals gathered to “welcome” the Parliament speaker, while the police prevented them from getting close to her.
Brnabic was accompanied by supporters of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) carrying Serbian and SNS flags.
A student protest was held in the town on Thursday.
