Outgoing Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic commented at an extraordinary media conference the CRTA report on the Serbian December 17 elections, saying that CRTA “did not establish the purported irregularities in the elections through minutes and objections, nor did they submit any of the arguments and objections to the Republic Election Commission (RIK), Belgrade City Election Commission (GIK) or to the prosecutor’s office.”

Brnabic said she “heard a big nothing.”

“We heard insinuations, speculations, half-information, and all of it nicely packaged together for a political context that plays in their favor as was also the case in the election campaign,” Brnabic said.

She described this as an attempt by CRTA and other NGOs to destabilize Serbia and undermine the constitutional order by making unfounded accusations that the December 17 parliamentary and local elections were rigged.

Based on the information gathered and the analyses conducted thus far, the CRTA Election Observation Mission expresses a well-founded suspicion that in the elections on December 17, organized voter migrations occurred to an extent that crucially influenced the outcome of the very close elections for the Belgrade City Assembly – this is the main conclusion of the report presented by The Center for Research, Transparency and Accountability (CRTA) at a press conference on Friday, compiled based on material collected before, during, and after the Election Day.
