She told reporters in Parliament that she went on the half-day trip to meet with Godswill Akpabia and that she returned to Belgrade after midnight on Thursday.

An Instagram post included a picture of Brnabic and Akpabia sitting at a desk with the caption quoting President Aleksandar Vucic: “As @buducnostsrbijeav announced – we are fighting until the last moment for the interests of our country and Serbian people”.

She added that she would continue fighting for “truth and justice with all my might” as soon as she returned home.

The Serbian Parliament portal did not report the visit.
