Brnabic: Principled reasons not to impose sanctions

According to her, the fact that a good price had been agreed with Russia for natural gas is not the same as the fact that Serbia has not imposed sanctions on Russia for its invasion of Ukraine.

“Everyone who has criticize us for not imposing sanctions on Russia because of the gas arrangement should be ashamed. We are not imposing sanctions on Russia out of principle,” Brnabic told the pro-regime TV Pink, adding that “sanctions don’t contribute to peace but antagonize the situation”.
