Brnabic says Deans’ reaction shameful

According to Brnabic, the deans appealed for better security at the protest but added that they appealed to the student plenaries not the authorities. She told the pro-regime TV Pink that the police can’t provide security because the protest are not registered with it.

“You are playing with the lives of those students instead of advising them to register their gatherings in line with the law because then we would know whose responsibility it is… The responsibility lies with the Rectors Collegium because they didn’t advise their students how to do things safely,” Brnabic said.
