Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic said “Serbia stands firmly with Republika Srpska in every respect and at every level, this support grows stronger year after year and our ties continue to strengthen, despite all the pressures from different sides.”

“This is something we will continue to do, it is a promise we will keep,” Brnabic said at the opening of the Republic of Serbia – Republika Srpska Parliamentary Forum at the Serbian Parliament.

Republika Srpska Parliament Speaker Nenad Stevandic emphasized that the Parliamentary Forum “addresses topics that do not threaten other nations or the interests of the European Union and great powers, but rather focuses on affirming the rights of our own people, their culture of remembrance, and economic development.”

“Most importantly, we are demonstrating our commitment to peace, peaceful solutions, and, in these troubled times when war is spreading across the world and playing out around the Balkans, we are sending the message that we are people who want de-escalation. We want to continue to cooperate, even with those who don’t share our values, in the interest of peace,” said Stevandic.
