Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said the United States “is currently Serbia's most important partner in the exchange of services,” and that an increasing number of US companies are coming to invest in Serbia “due to the significantly improved business environment.”
Brnabic met with members of the Atlantic Council delegation and noted that Serbia is firmly committed to advancing the overall bilateral cooperation with the United States, said a Serbian Government press release.
Commenting the situation in the region, the Prime Minister pointed out that preserving stability and intensifying cooperation in all areas is of key interest to Serbia, said the press release.
She assessed that the Open Balkans initiative proved to be “a very effective format, as it enables the connection and cooperation of the region, faster flow of people and goods as well as overall progress that should ensure peace and stability.”
“Brnabic emphasized the necessity of strict and indiscriminate fulfillment of all previously agreed obligations within the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, and above all, the obligations undertaken in connection with the formation of the Community of Serb Municipalities,” said he press release.
Senior Director of the Atlantic Council European Centre Jorn Fleck said this organization wants to contribute to preserving peace and stability in the Western Balkans, and to better regional cooperation and connectivity.
