Call for solidarity: Vigil in Belgrade for victims of Zagreb tragedy

Ninela Radicevic and Milanka Negic, mothers of the late Ana and Sofia, victims of the tragedy at Ribnikar last year, along with Marko Oljaca, president of the Association for Sustainable Future "Koraci," have called on citizens to gather at Republic Square in Belgrade tonight at 7 PM to light candles, leave flowers, and write messages of support for the families affected by the recent tragedy in Croatia.
"Our neighbours faced a horrific tragedy yesterday, where a seven-year-old student lost his life. On May 3, all of Croatia stood with us. Today, it is our human duty to stand with Croatia, with the family of the slain boy, the injured families, and their teacher. Ninela Radicevic, Milanka Negic, and I invite you to join us tonight at 7 PM at Republic Square in Belgrade, near the monument to Prince Mihailo. Let us light candles, leave flowers and messages, show support, and express solidarity with our neighbours and friends," read a Facebook post by Marko Oljaca.
A 19-year-old attacked a school in Zagreb with a knife, injuring a teacher and several students. Tragically, one child succumbed to injuries.
Croatia’s Ministry of Health confirmed that eight individuals were injured in the attack. Of the seven survivors, two are adults and five are children, who were transported to various Zagreb hospitals. The attack took place at Precko Elementary School, and the assailant inflicted life-threatening injuries upon himself.
