CeSID, IPSOS say SNS does not have majority in Nis

The CeSID NGO and IPSOS agency said that the SNS won 29 of the 61 seats on the Nis City Assembly at Sunday’s local elections. They said the projection was based on 100 percent of their sample.

The data showed that Dr Dragan Milicevic’s group of candidates won 16 seats, We Choose Nis won 10 seats, a coalition formed by United-Nada Savo Manojlovic Go-Change and others won 2 seats and the Russian Party and Nis at heart won 1 seat.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told reporters at the SNS headquarters on Sunday night that the hardest political battle facing the ruling coalition was in the southern city of Nis.
