Commission rejects applications for Serbian State Prosecutor

The daily was told by sources at the State Prosecutors’ Council that that commission rejected the applications by former Novi Sad District Prosecutor Miodrag Mali and Svetlana Tekic saying that they do not meet requirements under the Council regulations having failed to submit all the necessary documents. The sources said that their applications were rejected as incomplete. Danas said that Mali has appealed the decision by the Commission which is chaired by Dolovac who has applied for a third term.

Dolovac has come under criticism from the opposition and civil society for not speaking out on a number of scandals involving the authorities over the past few years.
