European Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi said in Pristina on Wednesday that Kosovo will get a shipment of 100,000 doses of Pfizer coronavirus vaccine next month.
“Securing vaccines is hard but we have them,” he said during a visit to an inoculation center with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti. “Kosovo will get 100,000 doses from the Pfizer company and the entire Kosovo health care system could be inoculated with the first supplies,” he said.
According to the commissioner, the European Union is investing effort to secure coronavirus vaccine for all the citizens of Kosovo. “This is the most important contribution to help end the pandemic because it will end only after we are all vaccinated,” Varhelyi said.
