Serbian Parliament speaker Ana Brnabic said a meeting of the parliamentary Culture and Information Committee, requested by the opposition, has been scheduled.
She said the meeting will be held on Monday, April 28, at 3pm.
According to Brnabic, the agenda will include the issues raised by the opposition on Wednesday.
Members of the opposition within the Culture and Information Committee called for an urgent meeting to annul the previous process and launch a new procedure for electing members of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media (REM) Council. This demand aligns with the request of the student protesters, who have been blocking the buildings of the Serbian state TV (RTS) in central Belgrade and in the capital’s Kosutnjak neighborhood for nine consecutive days.
