A local water supply company CEO caused an incident in front of the home of an opposition official who published an invoice to the communal services company for a hearing aid.

Dragisa Simic, the CEO of the communal water supply company in the town of Aleksinac, walked up to the home of Milos Petrovic, the head of the local branch of the Party of Freedom and Justice (SSP), shouting for him to come outside. Petrovic walked out of his house and recorded the incident with his phone. The incident came after Petrovic issued a statement with a copy of the invoice which showed that Simic wanted the company to pay 125,000 Dinars (1 Euro – 118 Dinars) for his hearing aid which Petrovic said is less than his monthly salary.

“He shouted from the street. He was very angy and when I walked out into my yard he called me out into the street to deal with me somehow. He eased up as soon as I turned on the camera,” Petrovic said.

Simic refused to comment the incident for N1 but replied to a text message denying any wrongdoing. He said that he has known Petrovic all his life and added that the incident is being misused for political purposes.
