He is reported to have told the pro-government portal that the “attack on the city hall was despicable” adding that this was not the first time that a tragedy is being used for political goals by the same professional protesters,” B92 quoted Vulin’s written statement in its 4 pm news show.
The confusion was caused because Vulin seemed to be but was actually not reacting to the protest but to the fact that opposition activists raised a white banner which said in red letters Your Hands are Bloody on Novi Sad city hall. The anchor made that clear in the show.
