Convicted war criminal at disposal of Serbian judiciary
A convicted Croatian war criminal placed himself at the disposal of the Serbian judiciary as a witness to war crimes committed under his command.

Retired General Branimir Glavas said he would be available to testify in the trial of Krunoslav Fehir if he receives guarantees that he will be allowed to return to Croatia. Fehir was arrested at the border entering Serbia under an indictment for war crimes committed against Serbs in the Croatian city of Osijek under Glavas’ command in the summer of 1991, Zagreb daily Jutarnji list said.
Glavas said in a Facebook post that he is making himself available to the Serbian and “only asking for the guarantee of free return to Croatia”.
Fehir was a trooper with the police and the BOB military formation at the time of the crimes. He admitted to taking part in the torture and killing of Serb civilians un Glavas’ orders as a minor. Fehir was a protected witness at Glavas’ trial for war crimes in Croatia. Glavas was sentenced to prison but fled to neighboring Bosnia-Herzegovina and was extradited back to Croatia where he served the sentence.
