Coronavirus: Croatia reports 341 cases and three deaths

Over the past 24 hours, Croatia has recorded 341 new coronavirus infections out of more than 8,560 tests performed, the country's crisis management team reported on Tuesday, adding that three more people have died as a consequence of the infection.

The COVID-19 death toll in Croatia now stands at 8,288.

A total of 220 patients are hospitalised with the disease, including 26 on ventilators.

There are 1,803 active cases and 5,753 persons are self-isolating.

Since the beginning of the epidemic in late February last year, Croatia has tested nearly 2.5 million people and recorded more than 376,000 positive cases.

Of that number, 357,318 people have recovered, including 253 in the last 24 hours.

To date, Croatia has fully vaccinated 46.10 percent of the adult population.
