Coronavirus: Croatian coast turns orange on new ECDC map

The latest COVID map released by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) has put the Croatian coast in the orange zone due to the increasing number of coronavirus cases.

ECDC monitors the 14-day incidence rate of the contagion per 100,000 population and the percentage of people who tested positive. Based on the latest data, the Croatian Adriatic coast has turned orange, while continental Croatia is still in the green zone.

Most of Europe is in the green zone while Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Malta, Cyprus and parts of Greece, Belgium, and Denmark are in the red.

Parts of France, Greece, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Belgium and all of Ireland are also in the orange zone.
