Croatia

Over the past 24 hours, Croatia has registered 2,885 new cases of the coronavirus infection, and there were 46 deaths, the national COVID-19 crisis management team said on Thursday.

There are 2,229 Covid patients in hospitals, including 226 on ventilators.
Over the past 24 hours, 46 people have died, bringing the death toll to 6,738 since the start of the epidemic.

There are 16,116 active cases in Croatia today, and 33,940 people are in self-isolation. To date, 1,734,234 people have been tested, including 10,537 people tested over the past 24 hours.

Since the start of the epidemic in Croatia, a total of 316,308 people have contracted coronavirus, and 293,454 of them have recovered, 2,103 recovered in the past 24 hours.

As at 21 April, 726,315 doses of the coronavirus vaccine have been administered in Croatia, and 578,273 people have been vaccinated, with 427,919 people receiving the first dose and 148,042 receiving both doses. For 2,312 people there is no data on how many doses they have received.

Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bosnian health officials reported 1,256 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, along with 81 virus-related fatalities.

The country’s Federation (FBiH) entity reported 857 new cases after testing 2,323 samples for the new coronavirus. The entity’s Public Health Institute said they recorded 55 deaths caused by the virus.

The Republika Srpska (RS) region said they registered 355 new cases of the disease after testing 986 suspected samples. This entity also reported having 21 fatalities over the last 24 hours.

Brcko District health officials said they recorded 44 new coronavirus cases along with five fatalities.

Kosovo

The Kosovo authorities said that 5 people died of coronavirus-related ailments in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 2,110 since the pandemic broke out.

It said that 3,003 people had been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 382 who tested positive. There are 11,366 active cases. Another 507 patients were reported to have recovered from COVID-19.

Montenegro

The Montenegrin Public Health institute said that 7 people died of coronavirus-related ailments in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,451 since the pandemic broke out.

It said that 1,207 people had been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 139 who tested positive. There are 2,835 active cases.

North Macedonia

The North Macedonia Health Ministry said that 39 people died of coronavirus-related ailments in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 4,595 since the pandemic broke out.

It said that 2,596 people had been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including 39 who tested positive. There are 18,392 active cases. Another 641 patients were reported to have recovered from COVID-19.
