Croatia

In the last 24 hours, Croatia has performed 6,829 coronavirus tests and 577, that is 8.5%, have returned positive, while there have been 14 deaths linked to COVID-19, the national COVID-19 response team said on Wednesday.
Currently, there are 2,596 active cases, and of them, 1,055 are being treated for COVID-19 in hospitals, including 92 on ventilators. There are now 12,762 people in self-isolation. To date, a total of 1,244,514 persons have been tested for the virus. Since 25 February, when the first case of the disease was identified in Croatia, there have been 236,333 registered cases of coronavirus and 5,238 people have died as a consequence while 228,499 have recovered, including 296 in the past 24 hours.

Bosnia-Herzegovina

Bosnian health officials reported 253 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, along with 19 virus-related fatalities.

The country’s Federation (FBiH) entity reported 140 new cases after testing 2,228 samples for the new coronavirus. The entity’s Public Health Institute said they recorded 12 deaths caused by the virus. The Republika Srpska (RS) region said they registered 105 new cases of the disease after testing 698 suspected samples. This entity also reported having seven fatalities over the last 24 hours. Brcko District health officials said they recorded eight new coronavirus cases.

Montenegro

Montenegro‘s Public Health Institute said that nine people died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths since the pandemic broke out to 861.

It said that another 623 people had tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and added that there are 8,173 active cases. It said that another 475 patients had recovered from COVID-19. A total of 66,857 people have tested positive for the coronavirus since the pandemic broke out.

Kosovo

The National Public Health Institute in Pristina said that four people had died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths since the pandemic broke out to 1,532.

Another 1,787 people were tested in that period, including 307 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. There are 6,896 active cases and 221 patients were reported to have recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 54,661 since the pandemic broke out. A total of 256,355 people have been tested since the pandemic broke out, including 63,089 who tested positive.

North Macedonia

The North Macedonia Health Ministry said that four people had died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths since the pandemic broke out to 2,959.

It said that 2,445 people were tested in that period, including 389 who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. There are 5,933 active cases the Public Health Institute said, adding that another 998 patients had recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 86,844. A total of 476,725 have been tested for the coronavirus since the pandemic broke out, including 86,844 who tested positive.
