Over the last 24 hours, 14 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 11,854 tested, 1,968 people were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Friday.
To date, COVID-19 claimed a total of 4,099 lives with a mortality rate of 1,01 percent.
On Friday, 3,987 patients were hospitalised, 126 of whom on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 2,675,996 people have been tested, and 404,668 samples have returned positive for the new virus.
