Over the last 24 hours, 17 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 12,405 tested people, 1,046 were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
To date, COVID-19 claimed 6,611 lives with a mortality rate of 0.94 percent.
Currently, a total of 3,492 patients were in hospitals, of whom 104 on ventilators.
Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 3,964,964 people have been tested, and 703,497 have been positive for the virus.
